Need to delete some pictures rotten a sd card using my computer. Do not hold camera?
Answers: The other answers you've received are correct. A card reader plugged into your USB port is the best way to do this.
Card reader are not expensive (if you don't already have one.) They're within the $10 to $20 range. You can capture an SD card reader, or a multi-format reader that will also read Compact Flash, xD cards, etc. for a little more versatility.
When you insert the card into the reader, your PC will see the card as if it be another disk drive. Delete the files as you would any other data ... underline them by holding down the CTRL key and clicking on them beside your mouse, or press CTRL-A to select them all ... next right click and choose "Delete" from the context menu or just hit your delete knob.
The card will have for a time sliding switch that protects the data on the card. Make sure the switch is sour, so that you can delete the files.
That's really not enough information. Do you own an SD card reader (could be built into your computer tower, connected as a hub through USB, or even built into your printer). If not, you will need a bearing to connect it to you PC for viewing as a drive under 'my computer' so you can delete the files.
