Which is better, a Fujifilm S8000fd or F50fd?

I want to purchase a new camera and I'm considering the Fujifilm S8000fd and the F50fd. What I really stipulation is a fast camera which can appropriate great pictures in any fluffy. Size isn't important. My current camera seem to have problems next to artificial lighting. I was taking photos of a Tae Kwon Do testing and the pictures come out grainy. I believe it be the fluorescent lights that caused the problems. The camera works find within incandescent light and bright sun feathery.

Also, the difference in 8 and 12 megapixel resolution doesn’t impress me. I don’t print wall sized pictures, so any resolution works fine. In fact, I hold an old 3 mp camera which take the best pictures of any digital camera I’ve ever owned, but it’s wearing out. However, I am drawn to the 18x optical zoom of the S8000fd. My old camera have a 6x optical zoom and I can get great pictures from long distances. I can with the sole purpose guess what a 18x will do.

Let me know if you own either or both and what you deem.

Answers:    The F50fd is 100 times better. Why? It has the SuperCCD chip, which is REALLY accurate in low neutral. Sure, maybe the F50fd isn't as well brought-up as it's predecessor in low wishy-washy, but it's still way better than most non-dlsrs out here.
the 8000 is 100 times better
