Answers:    Kind of depends on what equipment you have to use.
Tripod? or kitchen stool?
With the tree lights on you'll want to use a flash so that the two of you will not be in the bleak. If you can set the flash slightly off to one side or better nonetheless try to bounce it off the wall and ceiling that may abet with redeye.
Does your camera own a night portrait mode? This is the setting you really want.

No one can tell you the exact settings to use, because it depends entirely on the available lighting where you've taking the photo.

If you don't enjoy a night portrait mode on your camera, contained by very standard terms, I'd set the camera at ISO 400, and use a shutter speed of 1/30 of a second.
