I need to see how much feathery exposure is in the photo for a science project, they said a digital camera does matching thing as a pallid meter. I dont see where to turn on that element, if any on this camera. Any suggestions?
Answers: it's built into the camera. sometimes a digital camera will have spot metering. It will determine from different spots surrounded by the frame where to obtain the exposure. Like from the center, from the edges, from all points, etc. But simply, the automatic mode (P mode or Auto Mode) uses a light meter to determine if the flash wants to be used.
