Olympus 790 sw wont turn on after underwater use?
It worked for a while (a day or so) after that ending underwater use, though now it wont turn on. i tried recharge the battery but the red buoyant flashes- which i think indicates the freestyle isnt charging. There wasnt/isnt any residue inside the screen or anything.
i enjoy no idea whats wrong near it, especially since it worked a while after the last underwater use. Also it have never been dropped or anything approaching that.
Can anybody please help?
Thanks.
Answers: The ultimate time you took it underwater the water most predictable leaked through and after a while get to the battery, you should any wait for it to dry (maybe two days or so) or appropriate it to the place you bought it and ask them.
Take out the batteries and memory card and leave your job the doors open for around a day to allow everything to dry up very well. Then try a fresh set of batteries, not the ones you hold been using. If that doesn't work bring it put money on to where you bought it and see if they can swap it out. Chances are it have nothing to do next to water break if you are saying that it worked for a hours of daylight after you went swimming. Cameras stop working for no adjectives reason from time to time, these things take place. Chances are you can get a unknown one from the place you bought it or if not I'm sure giving olympus a ring up will help. Good Luck!
