Canon SD450 memory card stopped,how can i restore doll lacking formatting?

my Canon SD450 memory card not working surrounded by computer and in camera.Pls aid .

Answers:    First try to recover what you can using a salvage program. Then after you have moved the recovered files to your computer, format the card using the format side on the camera (not the computer). Thereafter resist deleting descriptions from the card individually and format the card after each use (after copying adjectives your images to your computer).

For very soon, until you can recover the descriptions, buy a new memory card (2GB cards are on Dutch auction this weekend for $14) and use it.
