What is camera "live view"?
Answers: Live view is when the mirror inside the camera body is flipped to display what usually is seen through the spectacle finder on the LCD screen. Basically it allows you to look at the eyeshade when taking the picture rather than have to look through the finder.
In a way almost adjectives point and shoots can be considered live view since you can use the eyeshade in existing time (though it works a bit different in a P&S's case). As for DSLR's as far as I know it's the:
Nikon D300 (And the D3 I ponder will have it, but not positive)
Canon 40D
Olympus E3, 510, 410
Yes the Nikon D3 does hold "Live View" as does the Canon 1Ds Mark III
From Ken Rockwell
"Three days after Canon introduced the Canon 40D with Live View around this price span, Nikon has outdone Canon because Nikon's AF system works two different ways while within Live View, while Canon's does not work at all."
Live View is when you see the picture you are more or less to take on the LCD peak.
