I know the F50fd have aperture and shutter priority, but does it enjoy guide and/or program mode?

"Manual mode is in reality a Program mode. The camera selects the shutter speed and the aperture, but adjectives other camera settings — sensitivity, metering, white balance, auto focus mode, continuous mode, and exposure compensation — are accessible to the user."
