for $250 but the Canon A710 or Canon A630. Great cameras! A630 is 8MP and a 710 is 7MP. If you can afford an A720 IS than get that..its the upgrade to the 710.

And you can get it inside your price range too.

I expect Sony is quite upright. If you can, find the T100. Limited by your budget, you can choose T70. However, the best is of course the T200.
