I do not have the docking station for my Kodak EasyShare Z650 Digital camera, but I do haev the computer hookup usb cable. I am wondering, if i plug it into the computer, and into the camera will it charge the freestyle? If no how can I go going on for doin' this? I dont have anything except this cord. to hook the camera to computer via USB
Answers: I enjoy this camera and you can't recharge them with the USB alone. If you want the battery to recharge I would buy rechargeable AA batteries next to a charger. The docking station will also allow you to recharge the batteries (included next to it) and transfer pictures to your computer. The docking station for the z650 is not much more than rechargable battery with a stand alone charger so the choice is up to you.
