Answers:    No, this is not a true LOMO camera. If you want an "artsy" 120 camera, bring a Holga (link below).

LOMO (English trans: Leningrad Optical Mechanical Amalgamation) no longer makes cameras. There is an Austrian distributor (Lomography) who have the rights to the LOMO name and they are putting the LOMO decoration on cameras made by several manufacturers. This isn't a bleak thing, a moment ago a confusing thing.

The DIANA camera is a cheap plastic camera from the 60's which be copied by many companies but are in a minute called "Diana" for simplicity's sake. These cameras use 120 roll motion picture, though the Holga has a 35mm adapter available. Art photographers surrounded by the 80's found that the poor/mediocre optical quality of the Diana camera be very appealing. Blurred edges, fogging (the cameras weren't light-tight) and a deficit of sharpness in the center. This camera become so popular that Freestyle Sales Co. in LA begin selling a Chinese Diana clone called the Holga. There are college photography courses which focus (ha-ha) solely on the Holga.

The biggest draw rear legs with the Holga is that if you don't know how to develop b&w and/or color motion picture, you will have to attain the 120 roll film processed. Expect to recompense $4-$8 for just getting the motion picture developed, no prints. You can either print the pics on an enlarger or scan them on a flatbed scanner which will bring 120 film (Canoscan 8400/8600, etc.).

If you don't own a darkroom or access to one, I think you may be better bad getting a digital camera (one that you can control the aperture and shutter speed) and playing around with ways to distort/manipulate the photo. You can do this in front of the lens or beside software. (Powershot A570IS is a good buy for a P/S but if you can afford one gain a digital SLR made by Canon, Nikon, or Pentax.)

Hope this answer helps you. Happy shooting!
that camera is a picture camera and not a digital.
I really don't think you want it.
It is up to you -think formerly you buy it.
