Memory card size??

i just purchased a Nikon D80 (10.2mp). I don't know what size memory card to capture. is there a chart that say how many pics you can thieve on a 1gb or 2gb card? or a formula?

it depends on picture quality
so u can narrate exactly how many pic u can store surrounded by 2gb card or so!
it take SDHC which be determined up to 8GB i heard.
