Most Professional/Advanced Point-and-Shoot Camera??
Answers: You can't get a unknown professional-level point and shoot for under $200. However, you can still catch some very nice cameras near manual control and righteous zooms for below $200. The only piece is, manual control is buried within menus, so it's not as easy to do as next to a professional-level camera. It can still be done though
The Canon A720 IS is what I would recommend. This is an 8mp camera with a 6x zoom next to image stabilization. Why this one?
* 8mp is right contained by the sweet spot for this type of camera, giving you sufficient resolution for a good print short introducing unwanted image clamour.
* This camera has dummy stabilization, reducing blur in dim wispy.
* 6x is a good zoom stock.
* uses easily and cheaply available SD and SDHC memory
* uses AA battery, which are widely available (I suggest getting rechargeable NiMH AA batteries).
* it's under $200. Link here:

Good luck and own fun!
I have a personal bias within point & shoot digital cameras. I like the Panasonic "LUMIX" chain of digital cameras. They have a great lens, LEITZ, as within the world renown LEICA cameras, and the imaging engine is very flexible.
Ultimately, you are going to have to opt on what features you want and/or need. You can't enjoy it all for your price extent, but you can do some really nice stuff (i.e. have control of the image) beside a camera for under 200 USD.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7K 7.2MP Digital Camera next to 6x Image Stabilized Zoom (Black) is available for around $130.00 at various online sources
