Canon sx100 memory card?

i am buying a canonsx100 and don't know what type of memory card goes next to it. want a 2gb. are they all impossible to tell apart or is one better or faster? thanks

Answers:    You will obligation to buy a fast SD card, which is required for speedy camera recitation, but especially for when shooting high level movies because shooting movies is processor intensive.

My recommendation is any Sandisk Ultra II SD or the slightly faster and only slightly dearer, Extreme III SD. These cards are briskly, cheap to buy, extremely reliable and are generally used by most camera reviewers for their camera see tests. Shop around for the best price...

You will involve to Format the card first (in the camera Menu) and it's also a good hypothesis to format it regularly or if you need to delete adjectives images from the card. Formatting should ONLY be done after you hold uploaded all descriptions to your computer.

good luck...
The Canon SX 100 uses an SD or an SDHC memory card.
Either card will work fine beside your camera and there's only one ascendancy and that is that the SDHC memory card will nouns your images rather bit faster. This can be an advantage if you are shooting things resembling sports at several frames per second, but otherwise there are no differences.
My experience using several different types of cards is that adjectives of the cards approximately are equal and there's no reason to buy any dedicated brand. In this case the best price is probably the best by.
Hope this help.
