Anyone enjoy experience near both Nikon and Pentax DSLR's? Which do you prefer and why?

I'm thinking of migrating over from Pentax to Nikon. Don't know why but the Pentax just doesn't hold that same intuitive feel as my matured Nikon 880.

Answers:    At one time the paper I worked for used Pentax camera's, but moved over to Nikon. I preferred the Nikon after ( I used my own F2 and lenses when I worked for that paper) and still do.

Nikon has be making professional cameras since the fifties, so over decades, they have listen to the pro photographers and did what we wanted when it come to features and the ease of using them. (Canon come out with their first "Pro Level" SLR camera within 1971 with the Canon F-1)

For pure access to used and usable camera lenses and paraphernalia, Nikon leads the approach ... virtually any Nikon lens made since 1959 can be used on any Nikon 35mm SLR or DSLR.

My oldest lens (a 500mm mirror circa 1975) can be used on my Nikon D200.
I recommend Nikon. Reason is Nikon has more lens and paraphernalia options than Pentax. For example, should you want to run beyond the avg users, you can rent Nikon gear. There are three pro-level camera stores here and non rent out Pentax lenses or accessories.
