Digital Cameras?
Answers: Whatever generous of digital camera that you get, please save in mind that illustrious megapixels aren't everything. I have see better pictures from a 2 megapixel Canon than a 6 megapixel Vivitar -- I think this is because the Canon have better optics (higher quality lens cup, more light sensitivity, etc).
I would stick next to the big names surrounded by cameras, like Canon, Nikon, Minolta, etc. But for a non-traditional camera businesswoman, Sony makes some nice stuff, too.

I enjoy a Fuji E900(9 megapixels, 4X optical zoom) and also a
Sony DSC-H2 (6 megapixels, 12X optical zoom). I love the Sony more but anymore the Fuji is begining to be a very close to Sony.
All the cameras that everyone else programmed are great. Check out all the trunk brands on pbase.com/cameras. That will give you a polite idea as to what kind of photos each camera take. Nikon, Canon and Fuji all hold wonderful cameras in every price field. My favorite out of all point and shoots is the Canon G9. It won't be out for another month but I get a chance to use one and it is sometimes better than my $1200 dSLR. The G7 is the previous model and when the G9 comes out, the price of the G7 will drop.
