Digital picture frame.....I saw one that have extraordinarily stretched descriptions on it.?

the images looked as if they be stretched to fit the frame and it really didn't look very biddable. Why was that and can that be avoided contained by digital frames? thanks.

Answers:    Most digital cameras breed a 3:2 ratio picture.

(That's the ratio of the width to the rise.)

Some frames (Polaroid and Kodak) display at 16:9, which is the ratio typical of widescreen TVs.

This will distort (stretch) 3:2 and also 4:3 images.

You may know how to configure your camera to shoot at 16:9, but the best idea is to avoid those frames.

HTH.
Photos stipulation to be formatted (cropped) for the aspect ratio of the frame. Usually the frames are 2x3 ratio, standard for 35mm and most DSLRs. Some cams have a 4/3 or 4/5 ratio, and will look abnormal unless properly prepared.

Oh, and he's right, some frames are following the HD video 16:9 ratio, or even the older 4:3 of SD video. In any satchel, whatever frame you bring, be aware of its ratio and crop accordingly.
