I want to buy a Camera, is the Sony W170 a appropriate resort?

Answers:    If you bought it at reputable store close to Circuit City or good camera store, they should be still exchangeable in 30 days. Your camera should have a year entrepreneur warranty so, maybe the store would acknowledge it. If not, most expected they will tell you to phone call Nikon and tell them what happen. As long as you didn't accidentally dropped it or banged it, they should honor it. If they don't complain to the BBB, and they will dispatch them a letter which contained by turn the manufacturer will thieve it more seriously.

I merely purchased a Canon ELPH SD1100, but pictures are not clear and coarse. What could i be doing wrong?

Sounds to me like at hand is a definate fault on the lens motors. You speak it is around two months old, which I reason is past the time when ordinary retailers will exchange it.

I would suggest having it repaired previously the damage get worse. Sometimes this could be caused by a physical knock to the camera, other times the motors basically go doomed to failure, or a bit of sand may have gotten into the moving parts.

See first if you can have it repaired lower than warranty, however if they find physical / abuse injury, they will charge you for the repair.
