They are located on the right side contained by the open and close slot (push it contained by to open it) Otherwise, the 360 have WIRELESS controllers. You'll need to sync them first, and to do that you push the small bottom located within the front of the controller by the battery pack.
If for some cause you have OLD xbox controllers, you'll requirement to buy the 360 version controllers because behind the times xbox controllers don't have USB ports.

The opening you sync the 4 wireless controllers to the xbox 360 is simple. All you have to do is own "1st player" turn his controller on using the xbox guide button (large xbox logo button in the middle of the controller). That will power on the controller. The guide button is surrounded by 4 LED lights that bring in a circle around the button. All 4 will blink a few times while it is locating the xbox.
