Answers: A wii shouldn't cost $550. Are you buying off craigslist or ebay? Buy it from a reputable place (Target, Gamestop, gamecrazy). The MSRP for a Wii is $250. If you can't find any within stores, call target and ask when they achieve the next shipment. That's how i get mine (they told me what day they would find them and told me to come at 6:00 AM) and then I wait with something like 20 other people and bought it when the store open.
Dont get it for them. Video games are notably addictive, and you wont get them to do any chores. Get them something else
