Yes and there's a few games out on the Wii that you can play online approaching Super Mario Strikers and Pokemon Battle Revolution. Microsoft will not stop charging for their online gameplay. I don't think they appreciate their customers as much as Sony does. Sony does not charge for playing online or even browsing their online store unlike Microsoft.
