Just set up a brand new Wii and it won't read any discs. Say to eject, shut bad, and unplug. We are soooo disappointed. We actually rewarded double from Amazon.com. Now the darn thing won't work. We are competent to set it up and make our Miis but thats it. This be so hard and expensive to achieve and probably impossible to replace quickly. Anyone hold any shortcuts or tips?
Answers: Try running wii connect update on the system if you have wirelss internet within the house connect via wireless built into the Wii...If you don't have wireless riuter surrounded by the house...set the wii near a front glass and run scan for wifi network...if it finds an clear wifi network minus security (padlocked statue unlocked) select it...then run the update. see if that help...

On the home screen displaying the Wii channel goto the bottom of the screen and click on the Wii button.
