I got my 360 today and couldnt start it, and still cant, because my controller didnt, and still doesnt, turn on. Out of desperation, I get a charger for the controller and plugged it into the controller. The batttery pack in the controller is a mundane battery pack, not one near rechargable battery. Now, I do not see any buttons on the controller or charger that would lend a hand me take the charger out. When i try to tweak it out, halfway I stop because it seem like it wont and also seem as if it is putting stress on the controller.

You cannot use the charger on normal alkaline battery, it only works next to the rechargeable battery pack it come with (in the Play & Charge kit).
