Copying games?
Answers: ^ what he said, but you can also use Swap Magic which requires no soldering (it's merely a disc). HD Advance does the same entity, but boots games from a hard drive.
Yes it is possible and yes it can be done near dvd's ! But it's also illegal ! You are with the sole purpose allowed to have copies of games as a backup calculate if you also own the original copy !
For example if I own Madden 08, after I'm allowed to make 1 copy for backup purposes individual !
And the only road you can play a burned game is by have a "mod chip" installed on the PS2's motherboard and that will render your system useless over time if installed wrong plus Sony won't touch it if it needs repairs and they might try to prosecute you for tamper with their intellectual property i.e. the primary design of the PS2 console's architecture !
Yes you can burn PS2 games. In fact they are one of the easiest consoles for copying games. Simply put the disk contained by your drive and use a burning app like Nero.
Simply choose to copy the disk and it should breed the image and prompt for the blank DVD. Put it surrounded by and let it burn.
Most PS2 games are on DVD's. A few of the in advance ones where on CD's and a few of the newer ones are Dual Layer DVD's (God Of War II).
But to be precise not the only item you have to do. You will also stipulation a way to build your PS2 read the game properly.
