How do you rework the video output on a ps3 from HDMI to RGB?

Please dont say be in motion throught the settings menu because Ive tried that and it was fundamentally frustrating. I set it up, told it switch to RGB, plugged in the rgb cable, and waited, and it go back to the setup blind.

Now the tv I want to play on doesn't have an HDMI input, so im screwed because I obtain no video what so ever. Im more frustrated than anything else because Sony is basically maxim you can only play on 1 TV and if you set it up for 1 youre stuck playing on that 1. It should detect automatically or have an external switch. Can anyone comfort or am I just not playing today?


Answers:    hold down on the "touch" power switch on the front for give or take a few 10 seconds. that will set the video output put money on to the composite (red yellow white plugs) afterwards go through the setup page again. its that simple, if it is complicated for you then your not doing something right
