Will the wireless xbox 360 controller near the play & charge gear still budge into the automatic sleep mode?

the wired controllers don't go into a sleep mode when i dance afk for a while and the wireless controller has an automatic sleep mode that turns rotten the controller and pauses the activity after a certain amount of time.

the play & charge gear basically turns a wireless controller into a wired controller. so near a wireless controller and the play & charge kit, will the controller still turn into the automatic sleep mode after a certain amount of time?

is anyone near the play & charge kit liable to test this out?
