Should i buy burnout heaven for xbox 360?
Answers: I'd strongly urge you to download the demo first (don't worry - it's free even if you don't hold Live Gold.)
If you're familiar next to the other Burnout games, you might be a bit disappointed. At least, I be. The previous Burnout games are part arcade racer, and constituent demolition derby. The object be to not just finish the see in first place, but to motivation as many glorious price crashes, chaos and uproar as possible as you raced through tight city streets and long curvy country roads.
Paradise is a sharp departure from that formula. You are confined to the city, but it's a BIG city, full of roads, freeways, alleys (you can use as shortcuts) etc. You'll spend most of your time driving around, just exploring. To start an event - approaching a race - simply drive into an intersection and hold down the brake and accelerator. There are events at every intersection (though individual a few in the demo) The two biggest events are based on race, or stunt runs. Racing is self explanatory. In a stunt run, you have to earn points by pulling sour various stunts beside your car. This includes jump, spins, barrel roll jump, etc. It's almost like a Tony Hawk activity.
However, the biggest omission are the crash-based events. While there is a crash mode, it's not as integral to the spectator sport - almost like an after thought. Also, the city is pretty sparsely populated (especially surrounded by the demo) so it's really difficult to get the really big crashes you could generate within Burnout 3.
There's also the annoyance that there's no way to restart an event. So, if you've lost a see and are halfway across town, you MUST drive vertebrae to that intersection if you want to try that event again. You cannot teleport - even when offline! At least previous games agree to you choose which event you wanted to play, and allowed you to quit or restart it, in need making you wait for the see to finish.
If the idea of a free-form, drive around town, and do some race type of game sounds angelic to you, then Paradise may fit the bill. For me? I be really looking forward to something with more crashing and destruction that the Burnout series be known for. I might still pick this up, but with the sole purpose as a budget title.
I brought it day it be released. Its brilliant!! Its almost a sand box game. Buy it or you will miss out
