i have a 1080i hdtv and hdmi cable..if a game/movie is only surrounded by 720p/i can I still watch/play it in HD? or do I enjoy to switch to a different mode or something? i know i gotta be in HDMI1 mode(cause i enjoy 1/2) but im pretty bad when it comes to HDTV's..thankfulness in mortgage
Answers: If you are using a HDMI cable with your PS3 and as long as you enjoy the T.V. set to the correct input mode (HDMI 1/ HDMI 2) you don't have to switch to a different input setting merely to watch movies contained by HD.
If your TV can support 1080i, it can support 720p. 1080i/720p are pretty much synonymous.
