I own a wii, and it's really alot of fun. When i started out with wii sports it's really addictive and i still play it. Creating miis is fun, and there's a pipe where you can create them to look approaching something in contests.
Zelda is a great hobby (still playing) and they are releasing mroe and more games. The remote and nunchuck really open up unmarked gaming possibilities

Wii is a very fun system. It is also the first console specifically truly family-based.
It also is the best selling console available, being out for a year and still man sold out as soon as they arrive in stores. That medium that game designers will probably focus more on the Wii, classification more content.
