Game Saves / Memory Space for Xbox 360 Arcade?
A few answers broke down the activity saves requirements to mortal about 8mb (or kb?) per store. Therefore, I could save around 30 games on the Arcade edition.
Forgive my ignorance...this is a christmas gift...but, does that mingy you can complete up to 30 saves and afterwards your memory is gone? OR - does that mean you can own 30 different types of game save that are updated each time the player progresses?
Basically, I merely need to gross sure that he has plenty space to save a profile & put aside his game progress contained by the following games: Madden 08, Halo, NBA 08, and maybe a fun team game for me (Simpsons).
Let me know what ya think!
By the road: We do not have internet...so no access the Live / download portion.
Answers: First off, your Xbox 360 Arcade system does not come near a hard drive. Therefore, you enjoy no where to collect any data on your system and your any going to have to fork over another 40-50 dollars for a small sized memory card or another 100-120 dollars on a easier said than done drive that not only you could salvage up to 20 gb data, but you can also play resourceful Xbox games on also.
My suggestion is paying the extra $80 and getting the 360 Premium System which comes with headset, wireless controller, store bundle beside 2 games, and the 20gb hard drive.
I instinctively have Madden 08 and its a murderer on your hard drive taking up 1/4 of my space, but i play online.
For arcade bundle since it seem you already bought the system and your personally going to call for memory, i left 2 links below to check out how much it is to buy memory cards and rock-hard drive.
It seems that you dont stipulation a large memory space, so i narrowed out the lowest possible expensive amount of memory you could get while at equal time providing you with something you want to save on your desired games.
Hope you relish your new 360! & Happy Holidays!
