My PSP won't charge anymore it charges for a few seconds and next it stops charging. I don't know if its the battery or the chargers failure

Try switching your battery near another psp or use your charger on another psp. If both of them work, then your psp might be at breakdown. try going to the nearest service center to have it fixed or replaced if you still enjoy the warranty.
Mess around with the connections.
if you've have the psp for a long time, you might need a alien battery
they should be something like $20 or so
Try taking the battery out and putting it posterior in.
