The First DS is large and bulky. The ds lite is lite and compact. The screens enjoy been slightly re sized and the mic have been moved between the screen. The Stylus is located on the right of the system and the styluses are much thicker. The start and select buttons have be moved. All in adjectives its a great improvement.
The DS lite have very doomed to failure, uncomfortable buttons compared next to the original. Other than that, here are no other major differences, and adjectives games run the same on both.
The DS lite have better image standard, and is better-looking. It's a little thinner, and there's more games for it than nintendo ds.
