Yesterday i was cleaning and have my PS3 on my bed, and it slid off at some point. The individual damage i see is my cover that cover's the sd memory stick slot come off. Could this own caused ruin internally in the system?
Answers: You wont know till you turn it on, but hopefully not.
It's even smaller amount likely if it wasn't on and their be no disc inside (the hard drive and disc creek, having moving parts, would be most at risk.)

It's a cistern of a system. If it fell on a carpeted floor, internal damage will probably not enjoy occurred. I agree near the other answerer, with a disc within the PS3, you are more at risk, if you were to drop the system, but if the system seem like it is working fine, next you are in luck.
