Now for a time confused. sorry. I f spending the money, which is the most rap for buck, want to play adjectives games?
Answers: They above guys hold it all right, but this may be of some give a hand too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation...
The 40 gb PS3 cannot play PS2 games, but it can play PSX games. It also only have 2 USB ports and no flash drives, while the 80 gb has 4 USB ports and 3 flash drives.
The 80 gb can play PS2 and PSX games via software emulation. If you want the best to the rear emulation, get the 60 gb PS3. It have the PS2 hardware.
The $400 one has NO backwards compatibility. The $500 have twice as big a hard drive (80gig) and includes MotorStorm. It have 80% backwards compatibility, along with more USB slots and something that the $400 one lacks entirely, which is card slots (I never use them, not really sure what they are).
I'd be in motion for the 80gig unless you don't plan on playing PS2 games. I personally own a 60gig, which would be the best one really if you can find that, but they were discontinued.
