Guitar Hero 1 controller for PS3 Rock Band...?

I was told that a Guitar Hero 1 controller would work for Rock Band on the PS3. I enjoy an adapter so that I can use PS2 controllers on the PS3 but when I hook it up, it's asking for a microphone. Is there any bearing to make the controller work for Rock Band?


Answers:    I've read that the lone guitar controller that will work for the PS3 Rock Band is the PS3 Rock Band Fender. Sorry. Nyko announced a new guitar for the PS3 that would work near both, but it's not out yet.
