I necessitate PS3 online back.?

Ok this Christmas im getting a PS3 and I really want online to be apart of it. What do I need to play online? Can I hook up and ethernet cable to a phonejack and it will work? or do I call for routers or whatever needed to play Online.(I hvae wired DSL)

Answers:    If you hold dsl connected from the phone line to your router afterwards from the router to the phone modem jack on the PC then your ethernet jack on the PC should be widen. Hook the ps3 ethernet to teh PC with the ethernet..

or for wireless in recent times buy a wireless transmitter usb thing to attach to your PC and run exchange cards setup on the pc to allow the ps3 to use the internet through your workstation.
Ok, first, Ethernet cables do not plug contained by to phone jacks. phone jacks take phone cable. if you have DSL near more than one modem plug in the ethernet cable to an extra plug.
