Hopefully, other companies will capitalize and produce wii compatible guitars soon. As yet, the best choice is to buy the whole winter sport bundle to get the inferior guitar. Keep the unused game and provide it with the guitar, once the stand-alone guitar is available.
Youg can find a few guitars on eBay, but they are selling for more than the price of the hobby bundle. There are also many game-only, no-guitar items on eBay, form individuals who likely bought two games and are selling the winter sport only. But those don't get rid of for much.
