What does PAL region show for PS2 ?

Because i have a ps2 activity that wont work, keeps asking me to play a correct ps2 format..however adjectives other games are fine.
This one has "PAL" on it...could that be why it doesnt work?
It also say online broadband only..im of late trying to narrow it down . I bought it online hobby stop.


Answers:    Pal is the European video format for its signal, in the US and tons other countries we use NTSC. There is no real means of access to convert it from what I understand excluding playing it on a PAL equipped unit. Broadband with the sole purpose means that if you choose to play the winter sport online, you must have it hooked up to broadband, not through dial up. From what you are stating it seem that you have ordered/recieved a European altered copy of the game you are looking for. If you do achieve a European PS2, remember our electric currents are different as well and will entail a converter.
PAL is a different format used in european countries. if you hold a NSTC system, trying to use a PAL disc won't work, so yes that is why it doesn't work.
