Answers:    Dude I say trade ps2 but not games, sell 360(and games), Keep PSP
GET THE PS3 IT IS AMAZING AND THE 80GB IS THE BEST SO I WOULD SAY THAT IS THE ONE TO GET THAN DO THIS

Update using a PC
Required items
PLAYSTATION(R)3 system
SIXAXISTM wireless controller
A USB cable
A PC near Internet access
Storage media (Memory StickTM, SD Memory Card, CompactFlash(R))* or a USB Mass Storage device such as a USB flash drive
(At tiniest 120 MB of free space required)
* An appropriate USB adaptor (not included) is required to use storage media near some models.
Update data download procedure
Create a folder on the storage medium in which to accumulate the update data.
Using a PC, create a folder name “PS3” on the storage media or USB device. Within the PS3 folder, create a folder name “UPDATE”.

Download the update data and retrieve it in the UPDATE folder created contained by step 1.
Select here to start the download.
Notice
Be sure to save the update facts as noted below. If the data is not save in the correct process, the PS3TM system will not recognize the update notes. The folder name must be surrounded by all uppercase correspondence.
Location: Save in the “PS3” folder > “UPDATE” folder
File autograph: Save as file mark “PS3UPDAT.PUP”.
Update procedure
Notices
Do not turn off the PS3TM system or remove the storage medium or USB device during an update. If an update is cancelled before completion, the system software may become worn out, and the system may require servicing or exchange.
The power button on the PS3TM system front is not active during an update.
Insert the storage medium or USB device that contains the update data within the PS3TM system.
From the home menu, select (Settings) > (System Update), and then press the button.

Select [Update via Storage Media], and consequently press the button.

The system automatically searches for and finds the update notes saved on the storage medium or USB device.
Start the update data.

Press the button to start the update notes. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Confirm that the update was successful.
After the update have been completed, turn to (Settings) > (System Settings) > [System Information]. If the System Software field displays the edition number of the update, the update was successful.
Hint
You can delete the update notes from the storage media or USB device after the update have been successfully completed.

THAT SHOULD GIVE YOU THE ABILITY TO PLAY ALMOST ALL PS2 GAMES (ALL BUT LIKE 3)

WITH YOUR EXTRA MONEY GO OUT AND GET SOME GOOD GAMES OR A NICE HEADSET

HOPE I HELPED
the 60gb is not on public sale anymore (unless your looking on ebay or similar) if you want backbard compatibility your going to have to get hold of the 80gb version as the 40gb magazine doesnt play ps2 games (but it does play ps1 games apparently)
