and I really need to know how you procure the red ring of death... I've hear that it can be a conection... but what and how do you get the wishy-washy of death on you rugged drive...

Answers: The red ring of destruction is 3 red lights around the 360 power button. 4 red lights means it cannot detect the cable. 2 and 1 red insubstantial mean something else. So...to take rid of it, you have to transport it in for repairs.

If you get it inside three years of purchase, they will repair for free. So, if you ask me, it's not something to worry more or less. The warranty is free and comes with every 360. Even those purchased 2 years ago - those enjoy one more year gone of the three years for the red ring of death.
It's usually cause by overheating, but three red lights means 'hardware failure'. But, if you preserve it ventilated and turn it rotten after about 5 hours of use (or sooner!) you shouldn't own a problem.

pff, dont listen to the guy above me, the red ring of extermination is only indicated by a power outage of your intact hosue(a power surge or when it goes out completly for a while) which surrounded by all cases restarting it will work and it iwll work fine again(unless it be alredy frozen or saving, i hear sometimes after it crashes the motherboard) or when something inside the xbox gets unplugged(I.E. a cord on the mother board comes sour or the cpu becomes dislodged) which solely happens if you rumble it around
There is still going to be a problem with the roast XBOX 360 gets HOT.
