How can he view an HD-DVD on his Xbox 360?

My boyfriend bought the Transformers HD DVD when it came out but realize he couldn't play it in his Xbox 360. Since he uses the console as his primary DVD player, I be thinking that that would make an awesome Christmas endowment. Can someone tell me if within is a component so that he can watch his HD DVDs on his Xbox 360 and if so, where on earth can I find it?
