Do you hold to income monthly for Xbox Live?

I'm just wondering and can anyone also report me how much for a specific month? I'm also thinking about getting an Xbox 360.

You can bring a free month of Xbox Live Gold by creating a new gamertag on an Xbox 360..

If you don't plan to play online Xbox Live Silver is free.. you just have to settle up for Xbox Live Gold if you want online multiplayer matchmaking..
