Does the xbox360 upscale commonplace dvd point?

does it act as an upscaler as it is on mky HDready tv and i own the xbox set at 780p or 720p whatever it is


Answers:    Yes if you hold hdtv and compnant cables or hdmi cable it does upscale your movies to hd.
From what I have experienced on my 42' HDTV Plasma and my 360 Elite is yes. I am using the HDMI input instead of the component cable and I have read some things on the internet that vote either the VGA cable or the HDMI cable enjoy to be in use to create an upscaled emblem...take those near a grain of saline though as I noticed the difference between using the component cable vs the HDMI cable be very minimal within picture quality. What be cool with my limited is that it came beside both the VGA and the HDMI cables, which help me out because my tv only have HDMI inputs. Also, if you have a "first gen" 360 you probably will not own a HDMI output. Also, dont buy the Microsoft HDMI cable is that is what you are going to use, because I of late bought a non-microsoft HDMI cable for my cable tv box off of Amazon for literaly $5, and they are selling theres for resembling $30 and i tried it on my 360 and it worked fine.
