Why is the thorny drive needed for the xbox live?

cuz i want to play xbox live but i read somewhere that i cant do it like surrounded by the arcade version - no unyielding drive...is it true? and why?


Answers:    You CAN use Xbox Live with the Xbox 360 Arcade..

You are pious to go.. you can squirrel away your gamertag on the 256MB memory unit which come with your Xbox 360 Arcade..

You may eventually want to buy the concrete drive (link below).. it costs about $90..
