Will the Rock Band Xbox 360 controller work for Guitar Hero 3 on PC?

I cannot seem to know how to get it to work, is in attendance any programs that I can use to map the buttons?


Answers:    Not directly. Activision, in their great desirability, has programmed Guitar Hero III to just recognise an authentic Guitar Hero controller as the primary controller.

You can however remap the RockBand guitar as the secondary controller AKA upright by using the utility called Joy2Key (see relation in sources below).
