I just get an elite console because my infirm 360 had the three rings of loss, but when I went turn it on from the white controller it wouldn't turn on. Nor when I try to connect to the 360. Do I own only black controllers to use it?
Answers: yes, turn on the controller, press the little wireless reset button within between the two trigger buttons, and press the wireless reset button on the console, the two will sync up, and voila!
SInce there is no black remote the white one will work. You own to sync them together.
