What format are the wii gamez?

ps2 are dvd format and i was wondering what the format is of the wii cos if its dvd why cant it read dvds?[movies]


Answers:    The Wii games are indeed on Dual vein 8 gig DVDs. The wii cannot read DVDs because of license issues.
The first answer is correct. The wii doesn't support DVDs. The wii's processor also isn't too good, so if it could play DVDs, the conduct would be poor.
