PS2 internet nouns?

Last month, my father bought wireless adapter for his laptop.
So, can my PS2 connect to the internet using that adapter?

Answers:    ps2 doesnt have internet, individual ps3. Ps2 does however have online team game play IF you choose to subscribe and buy the external adapter to connect it to the internet cable. I would get a ps3 already or freshly use a computer for the internet, its a hell of a lot easier than anything else

No, you need an Ethernet cable. They cost nearly 10 bucks. You also need a Sony PlayStation 2X Network Adapter, they cost something like 30 bucks.
