I have a PS2 that formerly have a "disc read error". I bought it off some guy near warranty sticker still in place for $15, took it home, took it apart, and manage to fix the error to a point. When I put in a DVD, PS1 or PS2 winter sport, the console will go directly to the browser, "reading disc" will come up, afterwards after a few moments either "DVD disc" or PS1/PS2 disc will show and at that point I can press the enter to nouns the movie or game. It loads and plays without blemish from that point.
On my other PS2, and every other PS2 I've ever played, when you put a disc in it doesn't turn straight to the browser but it automatically loads the DVD or game. Is in attendance an option somewhere to build this thing auto nouns discs rather than going through the browser? I've tried tinkering near the laser height but adjectives I can find is about 5 or 6 different height where I can do this. The rest is adjectives disc read errors. Suggestions, anyone?
Answers: Check your settings. He may have messed next to them when it wasn't working to see if he could get it to work.
It is not a disc read setting but may own something to do with the other settings. try the speed or some others.
