Is it possible to play american dvds on an english format ps3, im planning on order out of the country?

i have a english ps3 im thinking of order a dvd box set from the colorado area (if it make any diff) will i be able to play it on my ps3?


Answers:    DVDs are also region-locked on the PS3.

If your DVD box set is region 0 or region 2 next it will work on the PS3, otherwise it won't.
Not without modding. PS3 games are region-free, but the systems and Blu-Ray disks are not.
